Eiffel 65 – Italian Eurodance from Turin

Eiffel 65 is an Italian Eurodance trio from Turin, formed in the late 1990s. The classic line-up consists of Jeffrey Jey (vocals, born 1970), Maurizio Lobina (keyboards, born 1973) and Gabry Ponte (DJ/producer, born 1973).

In 1999 they released their debut album Europop featuring the global hits “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” and “Move Your Body”. With their vocoder vocals, catchy melodies and futuristic synth sound they became one of the most recognizable Eurodance projects of the late 90s and early 2000s.

In 2005 Gabry Ponte left the project to focus on his solo DJ career, while Jeffrey Jey and Maurizio Lobina continued performing and producing under the Eiffel 65 name.
